..ni no kuni: wrath of the white witch

found at weheartit.com

yippie yippie yippie! yes, it took me like ages again to write the post. but (!) least now i can say after some time past since i started playing, how wonderful ni no kuni is. bit like travelling back to the secret of mana. so pretty. so gorgeous.
as always, of course, i did not finish it yet. once again i'm drawn to league of legends and the hours just fly by playing it .. and when spring decides to show up from time to time, no spending time inside all the time either. and unfortunately i have to work as well.. oh, life is being so damn hard on me =)

well, eum, back to ni no kuni: the cut scenes are voiced, otherwise the dialogues are in textboxes. well, you know how it is. i left the voice on japanese, subtitles and text boxes are in english. i dunno, i just like playing in english somuch more than in german. strange? hmm.. anyways, at first i thought that there were errors in the translation, but by now i'm thinking it might be intentionally. who knows, but still a bit odd it is.. has anyone played it in another language and can tell if it is there too? dialogues, storyline, all in all very nice, based on a proven scheme. =)

what i had to get used to, however, were the fights. turn-based, but somehow not, switch between the familiars.. but by now i got used to it. so i'm ready to head out, become a great magician and get my mum back!

a game that i will definitely play through. i just sometimes need a bit longer..
